Perhaps the most profound experience a work of art can offer happens when nothing has been allowed to assert or endorse a specific idea. With that belief, I attempt to devise images that will offer a viewer entry into a pictorial space and hope that something personally meaningful will emerge that cannot be put into words.
Like dreams that maintain the appearance of reality yet provide a narrative that is both improbable and implausible, my work offers ambiguity or indeterminacy and will ask a viewer to allow the mind to wander and perhaps at times be analytical.
